Ruby joined Dennings Solicitors in 2013 as a paralegal, after completing her LLB (hons) degree and her LPC. She has since qualified as a solicitor with higher rights of audience, appearing regularly in court. She is able to appear before both the Magistrate’s Court and the Crown Court.
Ruby has worked on numerous cases, varying in complexity. Her experience includes high profile cases such as terrorism matters, murder cases, sexual offences, drugs offences, fraud matters, violent assault cases, kidnapping cases and much more. Her experience ranges from complex matters to the low level offences. Ruby also provides advice on appeals against convictions and sentences.
Ruby regularly prepares cases for hearings and trials taking place in the Magistrates’ court and in the Crown court. She provides support to all clients and is contactable 24/7.
She is also an accredited police station representative and frequently attends clients that are in police custody. Ruby also represents clients who are voluntarily interviewed under caution by the police.
Ruby has successfully represented clients before various taxi committees and has also represented those who are being interviewed under caution by taxi licensing officers. She also regularly provides advice and advocasy assistance on family law and immigration matters.
